Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to send a contacts information card in a WhatsApp chat on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the WhatsApp application

   There is a WhatsApp icon, which is a green speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says "WhatsApp". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.

   Let's choose a chat

   .

   We're going to choose Terry. Press down on it to enter the chat. We want to demonstrate how to send a contacts info card in a WhatsApp chat. This is very useful if we want to send our friends phone number or email address to another friend. Instead of having to write it down or copy it, we can just send the contact card with all of their information to our friend.

   To do this, we can tap on the white paperclip icon at the top of the screen

   Tap on the "Contact" option, which has a blue circle with a white outline of a persons head and shoulders

   This will bring up a list of all of our contacts.

   To send a contacts information, tap on the wanted contact

   We'll notice that we're in the phonebook of the HTC One M8. We're taking information from there and not the WhatsApp application. In this example, we'll see the contacts mobile number, home number, and email address. There is a check box next to each one of these options, so we don't have to send all of the contacts information, we can choose what we send.

   To unselect a phone number or email address, tap on the check box until the box is empty

   This means that we won't send this phone number or email address. If we only want to send one phone number or email, we can.

    If we want to send all of them, we can press down on the boxes until there is a green box with a white check mark inside of them

    That means that we will send the information.
