Edited by Freya, Crystal, Eng
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to select and add a new measurement on the MyFitnessPal app on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
Alternatively, press the big round button at the bottom of the phone called the home button.
2
Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe right to unlock the phone
.
Enter the passcode or press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
3
Look for the "MyFitnessPal" app, which, in this case, is in the "Useful" folder
.
It is a blue icon with a white silhouette of someone jumping, and in the left-hand corner there is a grey tab with a little dumbbell symbol. Tap it once to open the application.
4
It will automatically open to the homepage
.
5
In the bottom grey bar, tap the fourth option, "Progress", with a small picture of a graph
.
This will open up the progress screen.
6
At the moment, it is showing the "Steps" measurement, but it can be changed by tapping the graph in the top left corner
.
7
We can select "Weight", "Neck", "Waist" and "Hips"; select a measurement and tap on the check mark to confirm
.
Tap on the "x" in the left-hand side to go back.
8
There is currently nothing in the app for the waist measurement, so to add one, tap the plus sign in the top right-hand corner
.
9
Add in your waist measurement and then tap on the check mark in the top right corner to save
.
10
The graph will update accordingly
.
11
We can do that with all of the measurements, depending on what things we're keeping track of
.
Let's add a hip measurement.
12
Press the check mark in the top right corner after the measurement is entered
.
This will add the measurement
13
Tap the house icon in the bottom left corner to go back to the main screen
.
14
This concludes the tutorial on how to select and add a new measurement on the iPhone 6
.
If you have any questions or comments, please post them in the section below. Thank you for watching VisiHow.
