   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand-side power button

   Swipe upwards one time to get to the home screen

   Find the Retrica icon in the Apps menu

   The icon is on the lower right-hand corner of the home screen. It says "Apps" below it and it is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it. Press the icon one time.

   Scroll left and right through the Apps menu to locate the Retrica icon

   It's a white and orange icon of a video camera.

   Tap on the icon one time to open up the application

   In our demonstration, it is in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

   Select a layout for the photos

   .

   In the top left-hand corner of the set of icons located at the bottom of the screen, there is an icon shaped like two squares stacked vertically. Just to the right of that icon is a square with two numbers in it. In our demonstration, they are a "4" and a "3". Tap on this icon, and it will change to "1" and "1".

   Keep tapping and preview the changes

   When we make these changes, we can see the layout icon to the left slightly changing as well. When we have selected one that we like, we are ready to take photos.
