   To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button on the side

   Swipe and we can enter our passcode or use the fingerprint scanner

   At our home screen, we can find our "Google" icon, which is the blue and white one here

   Just tap once to open up the app.

   As we can see, it takes us to this page where automatically we can search using the bar or the microphone which I've told you just how to do in other videos

   For this example, we're just going to skip straight through

   We see at the moment we're loading "Pink Floyd"

   Underneath the search at the top, we have the options "WEB", "IMAGES", "MAPS" and "MORE".

   We're going to tap on "MAPS" and it'll search Pink Floyd in Maps

   .

   This might be quite hard to find.

   We see it's got one hotel at the moment

   It also might include things like museums or anything. This one's in Rome for this example. We're already in Maps indicated by this symbol in the top left-hand corner.

    We can tap and press the cross and then we can search something within Maps

    So for example, Trafalgar Square, and we can see it's bringing up the typical map searches rather than Google searches

    So we'll tap "Trafalgar Square" and it takes us exactly there on the Maps within the Google application

    Here we are and we use it exactly like we would the Google Maps application itself, which I've made a series of videos on if you have the app or want to know more about using it within the Google application.

    We can clear our search by pressing the cross at the top right-hand corner and it gives us the option to search again

    Or, press "Cancel" and either go back to the previous screen with the arrow on the left side
