   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Swipe the lock screen up to unlock the phone

   This will take you to the home screen.

   Find the Podcasts tile on the home screen

   .

   The icon is a white microphone with a blue background. If you don't have the Podcasts tile pinned to your home screen, swipe left and find it in the Apps menu. Once it has been located, press down on the Podcasts tile. This will open the application.

   In the application, make sure you are on the "GET PODCASTS" page

   If you are not on that page, swipe left or right until you find it.

   Search for a podcast using the grey search bar at the top

   Press down on the box and type on the keyboard that appears. You can enter the exact podcast name, the URL of the podcast, a genre, or a general name of someone you like. You can search any word that you think may be a keyword that could bring up some interesting choices.

   When you've typed in what you want to search for, press the enter button, which is a white square with a black arrow in it

   Tap a podcast to see more information

   I've searched for "Ricky Gervais", so it shows some podcasts with Ricky Gervais and if I scroll down it also shows some related searches.

   From the "overview" page, press the white circle with a plus sign in it to subscribe to the podcast

   .

   You will then be notified about new podcasts and it will save the podcast so that you have easy access to it. You can also swipe left to see "episodes".

   After the plus sign is pressed, it will disappear and "Subscribed!" will show up on the top

    Swipe left from the "GET PODCASTS" screen to go to "FAVORITES" and you will see the podcast is in the list
