Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to search for people or pages on Facebook while using the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
Turn on the screen and unlock the phone to view the Home screen

In this example, we will enter the passcode to unlock the phone.

Tap the Facebook icon to open the application
.
The Facebook icon has a blue background with a white "f" on it.

Facebook will open to the News Feed
.
To be able to search for people or pages, we will need to have the News Feed open.

Swipe down to access the search field at the top of the screen
.

Tap the search field at the top of the screen to be able to start typing
.
Previous search results will appear beneath the search field. If we are looking for someone we have previously searched for, we can tap their name, or the name of the page, in the search history.

Type in the name of the person, or the title of the page, that we are looking for
.
In this example, we will search for "Mike".

As we type, results will begin to appear beneath the search field
.

Tap one of the search results to view the profile of that person or the page
.
From there we can message or add the person as a friend.

Tap the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen to return to the list of search results
.

Tap "Cancel" in the top right corner of the search results page to close the search function and return to the News Feed
