Edited by Freya, Crystal, Eng
Hello, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to search specifically for your online contacts in the Skype app for the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side or the big round button at the bottom of the screen called the home button
.
2
Unlock the phone by swiping right and entering the passcode
.
Alternatively, press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
3
Once on the home screen, find the Skype icon
.
In this example, it is in the "Social" folder. The icon is light blue and white with a blue "S" in the center. Tap that once to open it up. It will either take you to the sign-up page or the recent contacts page with a list.
4
For this example, swipe to the left until we reach the "people" section
.
It will be highlighted in a darker blue when it is selected.
5
Underneath of "people", it says "Skype contacts" in the same shade of blue, with a drop down arrow
.
Tap on that to open a new menu.
6
Tap the third option that says "online contacts" That will list all of the online contacts
.
The only contacts in this example were online so it doesn't look any different, but yours will.
7
To go back, tap "all contacts" in the same menu
.
8
We can then swipe to get to "recent" which is the default screen for the application
.
9
This concludes the tutorial on how to specifically search for your online contacts in the Skype application for the iPhone 6
.
