To start, unlock the phone by pressing the home button or the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

Slide to the right to unlock the phone

Enter your passcode or press your finger onto the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled. This will take you to the home screen.

Open the TripAdvisor application by tapping on the icon

It is a green icon with an owl's face with big eyes. I have everything in folders to be more organized, so TripAdvisor is in the "Travel" folder.

Tap "Hotels"

Enter the location that you will need the hotel
