There are two ways to search

You can search through the phone or you can search through the contacts. Let's search through the contacts. To access the contacts press the phone icon, it is a green icon with a phone.

Tap the Contacts icon at the bottom of the screen

As you can see, on the very top of your screen there is a little search bar

That's where you type in the name of the contact that you are looking for.

Tap on the search bar

I would like to search for the US Embassy. Once you start typing the name, it will show up in the drop-down list. Tap on it.

There's the phone number

I can send a message, I could share the contact, or I could actually call them.
