    To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen

    Swipe to the right to enter your passcode
    .
    As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.

    Once at the home screen, find and tap on the Google icon which is blue with a recognizable lower case Google "G" in white
    .
    This will automatically take us to the home screen where we can search by tapping on the white bar or the microphone icon. To learn how to search using Google on iPhone 6, please refer to the article on how to do so.

    Type in or select a previous search

    In this example, we're searching for "Pink Floyd".

    Tap on "More" at the top-right
    .
    As we can see, at the top of the screen we have the search bar, and underneath that we have "Web", "Images", "Maps", and "More".

    Tap on "News", which is the first option indicated by a newspaper icon
    .
    This will search whatever we were looking for, in this case, Pink Floyd. This will display news for whatever we searched for. In this example, it's showing us "Cambridge News", "NME.COM" etc. and it also sorts by most recent to oldest.

    Search for something else by tapping on the "x" and typing in something else
    .
    This will search within "News" because that's the part we're still searching within.

    Tap on "Web" in the top-left to go back to Web
