You're watching VisiHow. We will show you how you can schedule sending an SMS, or a text, message on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini.
We'll begin by opening Messages. If you don't have a Messages icon on the home screen, you can access it through the "Apps" menu.
For now, let's tap the "Messages" icon on the home screen. The icon is a letter in an envelope.
From Messages, we need to create a message. We can do that by selecting one of the existing message threads or by creating a new message for a contact. In this video, the top contact in the list is tapped.
We can enter a message by tapping and typing where it reads, "Enter message".
Once we've entered the message, we can schedule sending it by tapping the three bullet points in the upper right-hand corner.
We tap the second option from the bottom, "Schedule message". We need to schedule sending a message at least 6 minutes in advance.
We change the time by tapping on arrows. Then, we tap on "Set".
When we've finished, we tap on "Done".
We can check our message by tapping on the envelope that now has a clock on it. This orange-and-white icon is located to the right of where your message is entered. When the icon is tapped, we can see the message appearing in grey. It shows the scheduled sending time. In this video, it is approximately 10 minutes from the moment.
We can close this screen and go back to the home screen by pressing the bottom-center home button.
You've just watched a VisiHow tutorial on how to schedule an SMS, or a text, message on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below.
