    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Swipe the lock screen up

    To scan a piece of text, we need to use the Lumia Camera application. I have the tile located on my Home screen. If you do not have it on your Home screen, you can find it in the App Menu. Find it, locate it and then press it.

    The phone is currently trying to scan QR Codes, but if I place some text in front of the camera, then it's going to read the text, and it's going to allow me to scan it. Press Scan Text to scan the text. It says in the top left-hand corner that it's finding some text.

    There are a lot of white rectangles encasing the words in order to highlight and divide them. What we are going to do is translate them into another language. To do that press Translate.

    It is worth reminding that you need to have an internet connection in order to use this function because it needs the internet to translate the text

    Surprisingly, there is no menu or function to actually copy the text translation. The only thing that we can do is to take a manual screenshot of this image, and then we will have it as a picture. We need to go to an editing tool to be able to do anything with it. We can send it as a photo if we want to share it, but we can't actually edit it and copy it into a Word document, for example.

    To take a screenshot, we need to press the power button and the up volume button at the same time

    As you heard that click, you can see the top says "Saving to screenshots." That is a way of recording and copying this data but we can't actually edit and copy it through the actual program.
