- 5My home screen might be different because it is organized with different folders. In this case, the application is located in the "Travel" folder. The icon is colorful with a green triangle, a yellow line, a blue triangle, a red pinpoint and also a Google "G" icon in the top left, or like a smaller version of the map. Tap it once to open the application.On the home screen, find the 'Google Maps' application.
