Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we'll show you how to save a document in Gmail directly to your Google Drive on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we'll unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button
.
2
Then swipe up one time to reveal the home screen
.
3
We have a Gmail icon on the Home screen
.
It's a white envelope with a red letter "M" on it.
4
If it is not on the home screen, Gmail can be accessed via the "Apps" menu by pressing the icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen
.
It's a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it.
5
For now, we'll open Gmail directly from the home screen by tapping the Gmail icon one time
.
6
This will bring us to the "Inbox"
.
7
We can find an email with an attachment by looking for the paperclip icon that will appear just to the left of the date
.
8
Tap on the email one time to open it
.
9
If we scroll down to the bottom of the email, we can see the attached file
.
10
Just to the right of the file name is down arrow icon, which is to download the file to the phone
.
11
To the right of that arrow is a Google Drive icon, which will allow us to save the file to Google Drive
.
The Google Drive icon is a dark gray triangular-shaped icon.
12
We'll tap the Google Drive icon once
.
13
Then it says it is "Saving..."
14
Now, a pop-up box at the bottom of the screen will say, "Saved to Drive"
.
15
Once we've saved the file, we can go back to the home screen by pressing the bottom center button one time
.
16
When we reopen our Drive, we should be able to sync up everything and locate the file
.
This concludes today's tutorial on how to save an attachment in Gmail directly to Google Drive on your LG L70. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please leave them in the space below.
