Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, I will show you how to save a file link from Google Drive to Google Keep, on an LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we will unlock our phone by pressing the Power button
.
This button is located near the top, on the right-hand side of the device.
2
We will then press down on the screen, and swipe upwards
.
This will take us to the Home screen. From here, we will need to access Google Drive. However, this application is not present on our Home screen. We will need to locate it from our Apps menu.
3
We are now going to tap the Apps icon one time
.
Currently, this icon is located in the bottom, right-hand corner of the screen. This icon is a gray box, with a grid of white squares inside of it.
4
This will open up our Apps menu, where we can swipe left or right to locate the Google Drive application
.
Once we have located the Google Drive icon, we are going to tap on it one time. This icon is a multicolored triangle, with the word "Drive" written underneath. This will open up the Google Drive application for us and we will see our personal Drive.
5
From here, we are going to scroll through to locate the file we would like to share
.
In our case, this file is labeled "Suzanne_CV2.docx". To the right of every file, there will be a small, gray circle with a letter "I" inside of it.
6
Once we have located the file we would like to share, we will tap on this gray circle icon to the right of it one time
.
This will open up a set of options for us. Before we share the link for this file, we need to make sure that link sharing is turned on.
7
We will now scroll down until we have located the "Who has access" section
.
8
We can see the first option features an icon of a green circle, with a white chain link inside of it
.
This option will read "Link sharing is ON", meaning anyone with the link to this file can view it.
9
We will now scroll back to the top, then locate the option labeled "Share link"
.
This icon is second in the list of option, to the right of the "Add people" option. This option will be represented by an icon of a paper clip. We are now going to tap on "Share link" one time. This will open up a menu for us.
10
We are now going to tap the seventh option down, labeled "Keep"
.
To the left of this option, there will be a yellow square with a white lightbulb inside of it. This is our Google Keep option. This is going to open up a new Google Keep memo, with our document name and link written within it.
11
Now if we are in Google Keep, we can select this link to view the previously selected document in Google Drive
.
12
We will now go back by pressing the white arrow, located in the top, left-hand corner of the screen
.
13
From this page, we can see this file has been saved in our Google Keep feed
.
14
If we would like to close these programs and return to the Home screen, we may press on the bottom, center button
.
This button is located just below the screen. This will exit the application, taking us back to the Home screen.
15
This then concludes today's tutorial, on how to save a file link from Google Drive to Google Keep, on an LG L70
.
