Save Credit Card Credentials in Safari for iPhone and iPad
Edited by Jay
If you use your iPhone or iPad to make purchases online, saving your credit card credentials in Safari's Autofill settings will undoubtedly save you quite a bit of time. If you use more than one card type (Visa, MC, etc.), add them, then once prompted to enter your payment details, select the card you wish.
Is it Safe to Store My Credit Card Information on My iPhone
Your card information is encrypted and stored only on your iPhone or iPad, and you must have a 5-digit passcode (minimum) set up to use the Saved Credit Cards AutoFill option. Also, there is no field to enter the three-digit CV number (on the back of the card), so you'll have to either remember it look at the card itself.
In the following Visi guide, we're going to cover adding, editing, saving, and deleting your credit card information in Safari for iPhone and iPad.
For this tutorial, we used an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.5.
