Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video we are going to show you how you can save articles from the BlinkFeed so that we can read them offline when using an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located right on top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen

To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

Once the phone has been unlocked we'll be taken to the Home screen.

We now need to swipe from left to right until we have entered our BlinkFeed section

We have a number of articles that we have received from all over our feeds. In this video, we want to demonstrate how we can save an article so we can read it offline.

To do that we are going to scroll down until we find an article that we want to read later

Here we have an article about a football player called Kane, planning to come back bigger and better. How much bigger is open to debate. He could be ginormous.

Let's find the article we like

Press down on it.

Once that happens, we'll feel the vibration and this menu appears

The rest of the screen and the background has gone dark, been placed in the shadows. We can see there's a black square here. It says in white writing the words, "Actions," and there are two actions: "Read later," or "Remove" it. We want to read this later.

If we press down on the words written in white, "Read later" it's going to add it to our saved section

We can see that it says it has added it to our reading list

We will be able to read it later, offline. Now we need to go into that reading list and show how to find this article that we've saved.

Let's swipe right again until we've brought up our menu

We're looking for this option, a blue circle with a white newspaper inside. It says, "News reading list." This is what we have saved. Press down on this icon.

It's going to come up with our articles
.
We saved this these previously. This is the one we saved, it says, "Kane planning to come back bigger and better." We can remember that is the one we just saved and now it is here in our reading list.

Press back, which is the white arrow in the bottom left-hand corner.

Swipe left until we're back in this "Search for content" section

We can go back and choose between "Highlights" or we can choose between our reading list. "Highlights" are just the general articles that we are being fed from our news feeds. "News reading list" is always the list that we've actually selected, that we've actually saved.
