Run Two Apps at the Same Time in Windows 8
Edited by Lukward Thomason, Amanda, Eng
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to run two applications at the same time side-by-side on Windows 8 computers.
Click the Start Menu icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
Click on an application to open it. For example, let's open Weather.
Go back to the desktop by clicking on the upper left corner of the screen. Now we want to make both apps run at the same time on the same screen.
Move the mouse to the upper left corner of the screen. Click and hold.
Drag downwards. Now we will see that there is a divider in the middle of the screen. If we let go of the application, it will fill half the screen and go on running.
Divided by a black bar, there are two applications running. On the left is Weather, and on the right is the desktop.
Click and drag on the black divider to change the sizes of the application Windows.
Disable the divider by clicking and dragging it to the far edge of the screen.
This concludes our tutorial on how to run two apps at the same time on Windows 8 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow. If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
