    Press the home button at the bottom of the phone

    Alternatively, press the lock button on the right side of the phone. Either will activate the lock screen.

    Enter the PIN, password, pattern, or simply press the finger on the home button to access the home screen

    Tap on the picture that needs to be rotated

    For this example, there is a picture of sideways writing on the ground. To see it the correct way, the picture must be rotated. The pinching method to rotate it does not work not here.

    Tap the crop icon
    .
    The icon is a rectangle at the bottom of the screen. It is possible to crop the photo by simply dragging and sliding the edges. Cropping is not required to rotate the photo, and the changes that might have been made accidentally with the crop tool must be discarded.

    Do not move the photo around or expand or reduce its size.

    One tap on the icon will rotate the photo counterclockwise at a right angle.

    Tap "Done" when the picture is oriented correctly
