To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen. At the bottom, we will see icons.

We now need to use the icon located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle

It looks like a grid made of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder. Press down on it.

Find the Maps application

It is located at the top of the screen. The icon looks like a map with a red pin, and underneath, it says the word "Maps". Press down on this icon and it will open up our Google Maps application. In this video, we want to show how to rotate the map. To do that, we will need to use two fingers.

Press two fingers down on the screen at the same time

Now we rotate our fingers

This is done as if we were twisting the cap of a bottle. Pressing down on the screen, we can rotate left to right and right to left. Just keep rotating and we can re-position ourselves. This is a very useful feature.

Look at our destination or our current location marked by the big blue dot

There is an arrow on the dot, and that arrow is pointing in the direction that the phone is facing. So right now, the phone is facing the wall, and the arrow indicates which way we are facing on the map. It's very useful if we want to know where we are and need to orientate ourselves. We can rotate the map so that we can find ourselves in the right position in order to help guide us.
