The first thing that we're going to do is create a file to delete for the sake of the tutorial

We're going to do this by right-clicking on an empty space, hovering over "New" and clicking "Text Document". It doesn't matter what we call it.

We have to delete it by moving it to the Recycle Bin
.
Once this is done, there are two ways to restore the file from the Recycle Bin.

One way is to double-click the Recycle Bin icon to open it

Then right-click on the file(s) and click "Restore"

Another way to do this (if we know the previous location of the file) is to open it in the File Explorer and move it there
.
For example, it was on the desktop, so we're going to drag and drop it to the desktop. It will be restored.
