But many After Effects users get frustrated and lose their patience in bringing back the default workspace, and if you are reading this, I assume that you are one of them. You are now done with resetting your workspace in a very cool and simple way.

  • Note: You can actually choose different workspaces as well. For example, if you are doing some animation, then choose the "Preset Animation" workspace. It really depends on your project, but the default workspace setting is applicable in pretty much any of your projects.

Tips Tricks & Warnings

  • Don't close every necessary panel you used, because in the future you could face another problem and resetting your workspace to a default will not probably work.
  • You can close panels that are not actually being used so you can place other panels that are more useful to you.
  • You can rearrange your panels to look more organized, and it really helps you to perform your work more efficiently.
