Thanks to the late and innovative genius that was Steve Jobs, millions of people around the world are now using various Apple products. Apple, the company, and its products such as iMac, Macbook, Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, iPhone, iPod (and its many variants), iPad (and mini) are now household names and as ubiquitous as American fast food chains.
Apple products are known to be sleek and elegant in design, simple and neat in interface and virtually virus-free, without compromising the durability and quality of the body's material.
Apple started with a line of computers. From the colorful Macintosh computers to the elegant MacAir, design and performance wise, Steve Jobs' company never ceases to innovate.
With the release of iPod, Apple revolutionized music players. The iPod made Apple and Steve Jobs worldwide phenomenon. Producing and introducing something as small as the palm of your hands that could carry thousands of music and videos would, without question, blow everybody's mind. This is what Steve Jobs and Apple did. They blew everybody's mind with technological advancements.
From iPod, Apple released different editions or versions of the product. There was an iPod with bigger memory capacity. And then there were budget versions such as iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, and iPod Touch, the last being higher than an iPod because you could surf the internet but a budget version of the iPhone.
Speaking of iPhones, a major contributor in the revolution of smart phones, since its release the iPhone has been a top and strong contender in the battle of the world's best smart phones. The simplistic design and its user-friendliness are very hard to beat. Other tech giants try to beat Apple to no avail.
Android and Windows phones have come up with their own software for smartphones but there is just something about Apple and its iOS system that more and more loyal customers find very difficult to impossible to replace.
After Apple's defined supremacy in the smartphone industry, they released another gadget that is toppling other electronic companies' products. Although nothing new as this was first introduced by Microsoft's Bill Gates, Apple's iPad, and its iPad Mini variant, dominates the Tablet industry.
There is no sign yet that, despite Steve Jobs' lost battle to cancer, Apple will lose its reign anytime soon. They are still getting stronger and stronger.
People everywhere are pretty much aware of how good Apple products are. In spite of it being in all places now, Apple remains to keep to its branding of exclusivity. In fact, in other culture, owning an Apple product has become a status symbol.
Because Apple never compromises on its quality, it goes with it the high price you have to pay to own an iOS device. And because having the latest iOS device shows monetary and societal success or level, some people - those who cannot afford to purchase a brand new gadget but very particular about their social status, would prefer to get a second-hand iOS device.
But like with many second-hand items, expect that its functionality is not going to be perfect.
If the iOS device starts to act up by freezing, screen fades to black or blank, or slow responses, before taking it to the Apple Store for fixing (and paying), it is advisable to perform a Hard Reset by pushing both the Lock button and Home button at the same time for around ten seconds. Wait for the screen to disappear and the Apple logo to appear and then you can start using the iOS device again. If symptoms persist, then it's time to go to the Apple store.
Tips & Tricks
- By doing this not only your whole data will be erased, but it will allow you to set up your device from the start including your Apple ID.
