    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

    We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

    There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

    Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the WhatsApp application
    .
    There is a WhatsApp icon, which is a green speech bubble with a white telephone inside, and underneath it says "WhatsApp". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder.

    We will see that custom notifications are turned on, indicated by the green box with the white check mark inside, and we have edited all of the options below it.

    If we want to reset these options to the default settings, we can press down on the menu icon in the top right-hand corner

    Tap "Reset notification settings"

    This is going to save us lots of time so that we don't have to change each option back to default. Once we press this, all of the options will be reset. The option will be turned off because that is the default setting.
