   To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button

   This button is located on the top, right-hand side of the device.

   Alternatively, we can press the Home button

   This button is located at the bottom center, on the front of the phone.

   We will then press our finger to the screen and swipe to the right

   This takes us to the Touch ID or Passcode screen, here we can enter in our Passcode

   We may also press and hold our finger to the Home button, this will activate the Touch ID sensor

   From the Home screen, we need to locate the Kik application icon

   This icon is white, with a black speech bubble inside of it. Within this speech bubble, "Kik" will be written in green text.

   Tap this icon one time, this will open the application for us

   We will be taken straight to our chat Windows.

   We now need to tap on the cog icon, located in the top left-hand corner of the screen

   This will bring up our account Settings

    We then need to tap on the first option, labeled "Your Account"

    This will be indicated by a yellow box with a white outline of a human torso, located to the left of the words "My Account".

    We then need to tap the very last option, labeled "Reset Kik"

    This will open up a confirmation box for us, with the options "No" or "Yes"

    If we have changed our mind, we can tap on the left option labeled "No"

    However, since we want to reset our account we will tap on the right option, labeled "Yes"

    Another dialog box titled "Reset Kik" will now appear, we will need to tap on "OK" to continue

    .

    This dialog box is simply letting us know that Kik has been reset, so we will need to sign back into the application.

    We will now be taken back to the Home screen, where we will tap on the Kik application icon another time
