Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to report an account in Twitter on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Twitter application

   .

   There is a Twitter icon, which is a blue background with a white bird on tap, and underneath it says the word "Twitter". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to report an account. To do that, we first need to find an account to report.

   Tap on the chosen account

   We're going to find the first one we find.

   Tap on the 3 dots in a vertical line in the top right-hand corner

   Tap on the option labeled "Report"

   We can then choose why we're reporting the account in the "Report an issue" section. It will say "Help us understand the issue with (username). What's the problem with the account?"

   Press down the right option

   .

   The first option is "I'm not interested in this account". The second option is "They are posting spam". The third option is "Their account may be hacked". The fourth and last option is "They're being abusive or harmful". If we choose "I'm not interested in this account", that's just telling Twitter not to show it to us. The other options are more serious and can potentially be a legal matter. These are only to be used in extreme cases. We're going to choose "I'm not interested in this account".

   Press "Done"

   It says, "Thanks for letting us know. Learn more about ways to improve your experience at Twitter." We can also mute and block the contact as well by pressing down on those options.
