You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can report an email as spam on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the side or the home button at the bottom to bring up the lock screen
.
2
Swipe right to enter the passcode or we can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone
.
3
Find the Gmail icon which is this one here and tap once to open up the application
.
4
As we can see, we have already entered in one of our emails so we are automatically taken to our primary email list
.
5
What we need to do is tap on whichever email we want to mark as spam
.
I have sent this email to myself to use as an example.
6
We can tap this drop down arrow in the top right-hand corner for more settings
.
7
We can tap on "Report Spam" which has an exclamation mark on top of it
.
8
The email has now been marked as spam and has been removed from the inbox
.
9
We can view the spam email by pressing the menu button
.
10
Then scroll down and tap on "Spam" at the very bottom
.
11
We can see that the email we just marked as spam has been added
.
12
Press the menu button and tap "Primary" to return to the primary email list
.
13
This will take us back to where we began
.
14
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can mark an email as spam on the Gmail application on an iPhone 6
.
If you have any question or comments, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
