You're watching VisiHow. Today we are going to teach you how to reply to, or forward a message using Microsoft Outlook, for your iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To start, let's give a single press to the Home button
.
That's the circular button at the bottom center area of the phone. That will take us to our lock screen.
2
Alternatively, we can press the Lock or Power button on the top right
.
3
From the Lock screen, we swipe right
.
Then, we are going to enter our Touch ID or our Passcode. For Touch ID, touch and hold the Home button with the thumb or fingerprint that we've selected in the fingerprint ID section.
4
Once we've done this, we are looking for the Microsoft Outlook icon
.
On this phone, it's on the bottom left. It's an icon with a blue background, and a white envelope with the letter 'O' on it. Let's give it a quick press. It will open up our Inbox.
5
For the purpose of the tutorial, we are going to use the "Miles&Smiles" message at the top of my inbox
.
We can see there is a selection of email messages. Some have been read, some have not. We will give "Miles&Smiles" a single press. Our message, along with some options, will appear.
6
The first option is to simply tap this arrow-shaped icon
.
It will give us the options "Reply", "Forward", or "Cancel".
7
We'll select "Cancel" at the moment so that we can see more
.
8
At the bottom, let's tap the arrow that looks just like the last one
.
It is on the bottom left of the screen. When we tap it, it will automatically open "Reply".
9
To exit, press the 'X' in the top left corner
.
It will ask if we'd like to "Save Draft" or "Delete Draft". We don't want to save it, so let's delete it.
10
Now, press the arrow icon in the center
.
This will reply to all. It will reply to everyone in the message. If we want to reply to everyone, this is what we'd press.
11
If we don't, tap the 'X' in the corner again
.
We can delete this draft as well.
12
The final option we have is to forward the message
.
If we want to forward the message, press the arrow on the bottom right of the screen. This arrow will forward. It'll ask us who we want to send it to.
13
We can enter an email address here
.
This will be our forwarded message. However, I don't want to forward. We will simply press 'X', then "Delete Draft".
14
This will put us back in the "Miles&Smiles" email message, where we can tap the back arrow that says "Inbox"
.
15
We are now back in our inbox
.
16
This concludes our tutorial on how to reply to an email message, or forward an email message using Microsoft Outlook on the iPhone 6
.
