   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, left-hand side

   Then swipe up to get to the home screen

   We need to access Google Drive, which can be done through the Apps menu

   .

   The Apps menu is on the bottom, right-hand side of the screen in this example. It is an icon of a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it. Tap once to open a list of icons of all of the apps that have been downloaded and are visible in the Apps menu.

   Scroll to the left and to the right to until we find the icon for Drive

   It is an icon of a triangle in the colors yellow, blue, and green. Tap on the Drive icon once to open the application. It takes us to My Drive first.

   Locate the file we want to rename and to the right of the file there is a small, grey circle

   Tap on the letter 'I' to the right of the file if we would like to rename a file

   That brings us to a screen with various options and information about the file

   The second row and third icon in the row, there is an icon called "Rename." It's a grey square with a pencil.

   Tap "Rename" and it brings up a pop-up box with the name of the file already highlighted in blue

   We can begin to type and it will type completely over the highlighted name

    Press "OK" once we have entered in the new name for the file
