Steps

  1. 1
Let's start off by removing the battery
    .
That is the task that many people find the most challenging. If you look around the edge of the phone, you will not find any seams or any other areas that would indicate you can actually take the battery off. At first you would possibly think that you couldn't take it off, but that's not true.

On the back, you will see a picture of someone taking the back cover off of the phone, along with an indication that you should never use a sharp object like a screwdriver to get cover off
    .
So the question is, how do you get the back off?

Well, start from the bottom of the phone
    .
Make sure you start at the bottom and not the top where your earpiece is. Microsoft is written at the top of the phone. There is also a headphone jack at the top.
