   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button and then swiping up one time to get to the home screen

   On the top left-hand side of the screen, we can view all of the things in the notifications bar

   There are quite a few things there. We can access the notifications bar by swiping down from the top of the screen one time. This will then expand all of the small icons. We can see exactly what those are on the notification bar.

   To remove a single item, we can simply swipe it off the screen by swiping to the right

   If we would like to clear all the items at the same time, we can press the "Clear" button that is underneath the screen brightness function
