   You need to go to the "Apps" option. This is the applications folder of your phone. It is where every applications on your phone is stored. Tap on "Apps".

   Now you will see in the "Apps" folder a selection of applications

   We are specifically looking for Messenger. It is a blue cloud icon with a lightning across it. Let us give it a single tap.

Uninstalling or blocking Messenger on my Samsung Note - how?

I have been receiving strange messages on Messenger but I cannot find the app anywhere on the phone? Where do I find it? It is not in the Apps directory.

Select one of the methods below.

• Reboot the phone. The application may appear on the application list when you tap on the "Apps" folder.
• Press the home button. Tap on "Apps". Tap on Play Store. Search for "Messenger". Alternatively, just navigate to Messenger link in Play Store. Once you have found it, tap on "UNINSTALL". Reboot your device.
• Press the home button. Tap on "Apps". Tap on "Settings". Tap on the "More" tab. Tap on "Application Manager". Swipe the screen left or right to "DOWNLOADED". Scroll down to find Messenger. Once you have found it, tap on "Uninstall". Tap on "OK".
