Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to remove a tab from Google Chrome on an HTC One M8.

Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone
    .
    Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

    Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

    It is one of these icons that we now need to access, to open up the applications folder
    .
    To do that, we need this icon at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid, made up of white dots. Press down on this icon to open up our applications folder.

    In this folder, we need to find the Google Chrome application
    .
    Mine is located here. We can see the Google Chrome icon, which is a circle made up of different colors. Underneath, it says the word "Chrome". Our Google Chrome application may be in different positions in this folder. Therefore, we will need to find it. Once we've done that, press down on it, to enter the application.

    Once the application has loaded, we need to be in this section
    .
    This is the "New tab" section.

    If we aren't in this section, then we need to press down on this icon, in the top right-hand corner of the screen

    It looks like three small black dots in a vertical line. Press down on this icon, and it will open up a menu.

    Here, at the top, we will see an option called "New tab"
    .
    We cannot see it because we are currently in this section. Be sure to enter this section, so that we can see all of the tabs that are open.

    If we wanted to close a tab, we could do that by pressing down on the open tab, and holding until we feel the vibration and a menu opens

    We need to press down on the option at the bottom that says, "Remove"
