- 5This is done to see if there is any difference in the used space. In this video, 11GB have been used. Google Drive shows no items left in "Trash". After refreshing, there are only 6GB of used storage space. In this video, we were able to remove a lot of files that were eating some of the storage space in Google Drive. By clicking on "Trash", then "Trash" in the menu bar, and then "Empty trash", we were able to empty the "Trash" folder.Now, we are going to refresh the browser.
