To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, left-hand side

Then swipe up to get to the home screen

We need to access Contacts or the address book from the home screen

This Contacts icon is on the home screen. It is an icon of a brown notebook with a profile image of a person. If this icon is not on the home screen it can be accessed through the Apps menu.

The Apps icon is on the bottom right-hand side of the screen in this example

Tap the Contacts icon once to open directly from the home screen

This brings us to our list of Contacts.

We can locate the person whose photo we would like to remove by scrolling through the names

Otherwise, we can type in the Search box

Tap on the name once

When the profile is open we will see icons of a grey star and a white pencil on the top right-hand side of the screen.

Tap once on the pencil icon to make an edit

This brings us to the Edit contact screen

Tap to the left of the person's name on the person's image once

We will then see a pop-up with options. We can change the photo by taking a photo or selecting one from the photo Gallery. Alternatively, we can select, "Remove photo."

Tap once on "Remove photo" to delete the photo
