Hi you are watching the beauty department of VisiHow and my name is Kara and in this video I will show you how to remove the nail polish of your fingernails. So for that we will need some cotton pads, nail polish remover and some Q-tips.

What I am going to do is create a double layer of cotton pads.

And I need to put some nail polish remover on them

Because I have a heavy, a very bright nail design I will have to do this in 3 steps

The first step is removing the initial layer in one motion. See, this is how it looks.

If you just start by wiping it, you will get paint from the nail polish all over your fingers

You will get it on the skin around the nails which is really hard to remove later.

Make sure you do not re-apply this part where you already have now, on your nails again because you can get the nail polish on your skin and it is really hard to remove

So I will fold it in half and use the other side of the pad

If you do it the opposite way from the top of the nail to the bottom you will get nail polish on your fingers

Remove the left overs of the nail polish that we have here

This is easier to do. Just make sure there isn't any left.

You could watch me do this on braid design for fingernails in my other video

Right now I am just removing the left overs. This kind of design goes well with ombi lips. For real lips you can use different colors of lipstick, light ones and dark ones. You could also watch that in my other videos. Now in spots like this where I have nail polish under my nail, I will be using the Q-tip. Just put the Q-tip all the way to the bottle hole so you don't spill any and the liquid just goes right in the end.

So this is where I am using the Q-tip

I keep rolling it out to get all the nail polish from under the nail. I have no idea how it got there.
