Steps
- 1To begin, we'll unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button one time.
- 2Then we'll swipe up to get to the home screen.
- 3The "Apps" icon is found at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. It is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it.We now need to access Google Drive, which we'll need to do through the "Apps" menu.
- 4Tap on that icon to view the "Apps" menu.
- 5Then scroll to the left and right to find the icon for Google "Drive", which is a triangular icon with three colors.
- 6We can tap that icon once, and it will open up Google "Drive".
- 7If we scroll through the list of documents, we might see several files that we want to remove.
- 8the first is a magnifying glass, followed by a layout of six squares, and finally three dots in a vertical line.At the top of the screen in the gray bar, there are three icons.
- 9From there we can "Filter by", "Sort by", "Select..", "Select all" or view "Details".If we tap on the three dots, it will open a pop-up menu.
- 10In order to delete several documents but not all of them, we want to choose "Select...", so we'll tap on that third option one time.
- 11Now, the gray circles that had the letter "I" inside the have changed.
- 12We can tap on one of the icons to open the document and preview it.
- 13Now, tap the back arrow at the bottom left-hand side of the phone.
- 14We can also go back by tapping the arrow at the top left corner of the screen next to the document title.
- 15It also adds the items in a white box at the bottom of the screen.Looking at the list of documents, if we tap on any of the icons on the left side of the screen, it adds a check mark next to that document name.
- 16Across from that in the white box at the bottom is a pin icon, a down arrow icon, and a more options icon which is the bulleted list with the three dots.Now, it says we have chosen "3 Items".
- 17If we tap on those three dots at the bottom right corner, it brings up a menu.
- 18it has a trash can next to it.The second on that menu is to "Remove" the files we've selected.
- 19Tap on the "Remove" option one time to delete the files.
- 20Now, we can see a message at the bottom that says, "3 items removed"
- 21We will be able to "UNDO" this action if we deleted the files by mistake.
- 22To close the application completely and exit Google Drive, we can press the bottom center button one time to return to the home screen.
