Remove Makeup Without Removing Your Contact Lenses or Damaging Your Eyes
Edited by Kara, Yuliya, Eng, Doug Collins
Hi, you're watching VisiHow. My name is Kara, and today I will show you how to remove your makeup without damaging your eyes if you have sensitive eyes, or contacts. It will require two main steps to remove all the makeup off my face.
Steps
1
Step number one will be using Avon conditioning eye makeup, which can be used for the whole face
.
2
Step number two will basically be that after you remove the top layer you will just need to wash your face with soap
.
If you use regular soap, your face will not get dry.
3
I'm going to take a cotton pad, open it, and put a little tiny bit of the makeup removal lotion inside, then close it back up
.
Make sure the lotion gets inside the cotton.
4
After that, I will start with the forehead
.
It's always easier to start with the top because the lipstick might be sticky and you don't want to wipe it all over your face.
5
You might need another cotton pad
.
I'm going to do the same thing with the second pad. If you were to apply the lotion on top, you might get it in your eyes, and it's not very pleasant.
6
Work your way down from the forehead to the rest of your face
.
Wipe it all over your face.
7
What I'm doing is I'm removing the foundation first
.
See? There's a lot of foundation on this face today.
8
With the same cotton pad, you can remove lipstick as well
.
9
We're moving onto the third pad, which we will be using on our eyes
.
The eyes are the most sensitive part of the face.
10
Eyebrows and eyeshadow gets removed first, then I go to the lash line last
.
This lotion is very convenient, it removes the makeup very fast, even the waterproof makeup. It also does not let your face get dry. It moisturizes your face.
11
We've removed all the visible parts of the makeup
.
Let's use one last pad to make sure that there's no makeup left. It looks clean to me, but we'll see. Again, we'll just go all over the face like last time. Oh wow - there's still a lot of makeup left. It seems infinite!
12
I just removed all the heavy makeup that I had
.
Normally when you use the facial soap, it doesn't do a good enough job, so you have to use the lotion first and then wash your face with makeup removing or just cleaning facial soap. If you use regular hand soap, it will leave an unpleasant and dry feeling on your face. Of course, don't forget to apply some moisturizing cream afterwards.
