Remove Languages from the iPad Air 2

Steps

In order to delete a preferred language form the iPad, tap on the "Settings" icon

It is on the home screen of your iPad. It is a silver-and-gray box with the series of gears inside of it. This will open the "Settings" panel. You'll note that "Settings" is shown on the left side.

Tap on the seventh icon from the top, "General"

On the right side, you will see the "General" section.

Tap on "Language & Region"
.
This will open the "Language & Region" area. You will see "PREFERRED LANGUAGE ORDER" is listed in the second section. You will see that you have the "Add Language..." option below. However, you want to delete (remove) a language from your iPad Air 2.

Tap on the "Edit" text in the upper-right corner

You will see that the list of your languages will be changed. You will have the option to delete languages. In this case, let's delete the Russian language.

Tap on the red circle next to the language

It will bring up the menu that allows you to delete the language.

This will let you delete the language.

When you've finished, simply tap on "Done" on the right
.
You will have the option of changing your language preference.

Tap on "Continue" to continue

The system will set the language. You may be switched back to the portrait mode.

If needed, tilt the iPad
.
You will return to the landscape mode.
