Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

    We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

    There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

    Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Photos icon
    .
    It is an icon of a shape made up of different colors, and underneath, it says the word "Photos". Your photos application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to remove the geolocation from files scared with a link from this application. To do that, we need to find the settings menu.

    We can find the settings menu by pressing down on the 3 horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner of the screen

    We want to tap on "Settings", which will open the settings menu

    We want the option that says "Remove geo-location" and underneath it says "From photos and videos that you share with a link, but not by other means"

    This option is currently off, indicated by the gray switch on the right-hand side. This function removes the geo-location from videos and photos that we share with a link, which gives us a bit more privacy because we don't reveal so much information.
