You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to remove the background fan noise generated when we have the microphone gain turned up too loud, and it captures the noise from the fan when we record. We're going to open up a file with fan noise.

   To remove this noise, we click "Effects", hover over "Noise Reduction / Restoration" and click "Adaptive Noise Reduction"

   We can press the play button to hear a preview of what it will sound like with the effect added

   Move the play head to the beginning and click the power icon, then press the play button again to hear the clip without the effect
