Like most Samsung Galaxy devices, Samsung Galaxy S4 has a replaceable battery which can be taken out by removing the back cover of S4. The back cover hides the three most important items in your phone: the SIM card, the memory card and the battery.
Things to Consider Before Removing the Battery Cover
- 1It would be much safer if you lay it on a flat surface to prevent it from accidentally dropping.Do not hold the phone in the air while removing the back cover.
- 2Though the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen is strong enough to withstand scratches, your screen protector may not be. Impurities and small particles may make a scratch on average screen protectors.Lay your phone on a clean and soft surface.
- 3It should not break or chip off easily. That should not be a reason to remove it in a rush though. Being careful is always better. The back cover is made of a flexible and high quality material.

Questions and Answers
My cover is not opening and I cannot help in it?
It is very hard to remove. I tried the way you told but still
If you are having a hard time opening the back cover of your Samsung Galaxy S4, follow these procedures:
- Make sure your fingernail can get through the gap as stated in this article. If your fingernails are too short, then you may not be able to pull the cover up.
- You can also use a small hard object as a replacement for your fingernail. If your nails are too short, using an object that is small enough to fit into the gap, but strong enough not to break when you use it as a lever to pull the back cover. Just make sure you do this slowly and securely, so you don't damage your phone or the cover.
- Ask assistance from others. If you are too young, too weak, or unable for whatever other reasons, ask someone who is more able for help. This will ensure that the job is done without causing damage to your device.
I can't take out a ball stuck inside my headphone jack on my phone?
Its my SGS4 a ball is stuck in the headphone piece, like those little white packs with the balls in when you get new shoes. I was thinking of taking the whole back piece off and going into the phone to take it out

Can you take off a back cover of a Samsung Galaxy tablet 4?
The SIM card was put in the wrong way and won't budge
The best course of action in this case is to bring it to a Samsung service center, but if you are willing to risk it, you can attempt to take the stuck SIM card out by putting another SIM card into the slot with superglue on its end that will be pushed into the stuck SIM card. This is not an official method, and it may damage both SIM cards and the SIM card slot if the glue leaks (which is likely). As the SIM card gets glued, push it out.
Taking the cover off will not solve the problem, as the SIM-card slot is sealed. To take a look at the SIM slot, use a plastic flat tool to separate the cover from the rim (silver) of the frontal part. Start at one point and them move to the sides of it to eventually remove the cover completely.
