You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can refresh a page on the Google application, for the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the Lock button. This button is located on the right-hand side of the device.
Alternatively, we can press the Home button. This button is located at the very bottom of the screen.
We will the swipe to the right, this will bring us to the Touch ID or Passcode screen.
Here we can enter our passcode to unlock the device.
Alternatively, we can press and hold our finger to the Home button, this will activate the Touch ID sensor.
Once we are on the Home screen, we need to locate the Google application icon. This icon is blue, with a white letter "g" inside of it.
Tap this icon once to open the application.
We will automatically be taken to the search page, where we can search by taping the white text box in the center of the screen.
We may also choose to tap the blue microphone icon, located directly underneath the text box. This will allow us to use voice search. We talk through how to use this option in another video.
For today, we are going to tap on the white text box.
This will open the search for us, where we can type in our request or tap on one of our previous searches.
We are going to simply tap on the item we last searched for, labeled "pink floyd".
As we can see, our search results have been brought up. We can scroll through these results until we find the information we want.
Tap on a link to be brought to that specific site. What link we choose to tap depends on what we were interested in when we first made the search.
The link we tapped has brought us to the Pink Floyd official website.
In the top right-hand corner, there will be an icon featuring three, white dots in a vertical line.
Tap this icon once, this will open up a small white menu for us.
As we can see, our first option is labeled "Refresh". To the left of this option, there will be an icon of a circular arrow.
Tap on "Refresh" one time.
This will reload, or refresh, the page for us.
To go back to the previous screen, we can tap on the gray arrow located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
We will now tap on the blue circle at the bottom of the screen, this will bring us back to the original search screen. This blue circle will have a white letter "g" inside.
We will now be back on the search page, where we began.
