I would like to thank Caddy Sw for the awesome video on how to DIY a Candle Recycling. I organized it into a wiki for anyone with a hearing impairment, or for those who just prefer to read the steps. Hope you enjoy it. :)

Hi, guys. So I recently purchased one of those wax warmers from Hobby Lobby, and there was a 15% off. I begin to wax squares and I have this candle, it's a Macintosh Apple, I've had it for years but is was just a cheap candle, saw the way it burns with a very cheap lay like there is a big hole all in the middle.

   I have a pot of a warming water, and I am just going to insert the candle into the water and let the wax melt.

   The candle is just sitting in the water, I'll wait for it to melt

   .

   Maybe next is lying a cooking tray with some saran wrap and I am just going to pour the wax into it, and then I'm just breaking it up into chunks, it's not going to be as cool as perfect squares or anything. But I need to really go the store probably and buy those mini ice cream trays because the ice cream trays that I have now are just really too big, with a many ice cream tray would be perfect. If you have time before you start this project, I will head to the store first.

   Now, it's pretty much done, I think that there might be a big chunk floating at the bottom, but I can't really tell, so either way, I'm just going to go ahead and pour it on

   .

   I have a cooking sheet pan just in case that it does go over, I won't be too sad because that's not my nice ones.

   I'm using wax paper, I think earlier I said something else, but wax paper would be a better decision

   I'm just going to try and get this out without burning myself

   Now, I'm pouring the content into the pan

   There are still chunks, but I think that it's good enough, it also has the wick part in there too

   I'm just going to kind of let this stay until it hardens, and then I'll try my best to actually use a knife and cut it into chunks

   This is completely a random idea how to basically woke up today just like, I'm going to put this old candles which I love, but it cannot burn anymore, I'm putting the stove tap and see what happens, so I kind of don't really know what's going on and maybe that this is something the other people have already thought of, but I'm going to call it on my own and say it, way to go, this is a beautiful idea

   .

   While this is drying, I decided to clean out the jar.

    What I did is this whole time I've been using that old pot, the tough one pot that was all scratched up, so finally bought some new stainless steel pot, now I wasn't going to use a crafting pot, so I didn't care if any wax got inside of it

    But basically, I reheated again and poured the wick or whatever little bit of wax that was still inside right into the trash can, then I just kind of submerged the whole thing and let it get all warm and all covered with water and just pour out as much as of the wax or whatever was inside of it out

    Then I took a small brush that I didn't necessary want it to get wax on, and just going to cover it with some deeper towels, and it's going to be inside

    I don't know if I did tell in the earlier video, but this was all black, and I've been trying to clean it before and it never came off

    always said it, it's kind like wipe straight out, except for this one spot from here, just would not go away, so I don't know why that happened

    Since I didn't do any research or try to get help from anyone on doing this project, I just like to rub and scrub that for the longest time and these are my nasty cloth

    Do you mind to tell you, this thing went from dirty to beautiful like two seconds, any type of remaining wax that was inside, and there's like weird that stick in the bottom, all of that went away, so ladies just don't forget about the steel wool

    So now, I think that's pretty much time to go ahead and cut this up

    I'm using a knife, it's kind of a nice knife, we don't ever used it too often, and pretty sure you can get the wax out of it, you don't want to worry about it

    I'm just going to slice through, and I'm using wax paper it just comes right off
