   In order to record a video from the lock screen, our Galaxy S6 needs to be locked

   .

   This can be done by pressing the lock button, or the power button. Alternatively, we may let the phone time out. However, we press the lock button as that's the quickest way. Once we've pressed the lock button on our locked phone, we may do one of two things to record a video.

   The first way to record a video is to double-tap the home button quickly

   This will begin recording a video. We will know that we'll be recording a video because the timer will change, and we will see a red dot.
