- 10It will use up about double of the amount of space because it is taking double the number of frames. We can see that there is a lot less video time available. On 1080p 60 FPS footage, there is a limit of 10 minutes per recording, so we can only record for about 10 minutes before we have to start a new recording. It will automatically shut the video off when it ends. For 30 FPS and 24 FPS in 720p, we can record for 20 minutes, and 424p will record for 30 minutes. Time limits are a disadvantage to Nikon. Here, we will start a video as normal, but this time the video is going to use up a lot more space on the card than before.

How long can I film on Nikon D3300?
Hi, I am interested in buying a Nikon D3300 to make picture, but mostly to learn how to make small movies. I've heard the quality is one of the best in that range of price, but I've read somewhere that you can only film for a short period of time, around 10 minutes. Is it true? Can you film several time a 10 minutes scene or do I need to put it on a computer each time? Thanks for your answer
You can take multiple 10 minute clips. The camera just needs to "catch up" so to speak. This is common for dslrs

Using either HDMI or USB [quality not priority] to record [& maybe view] video to laptop?
Is there a software solution to use laptop as direct / instant storage - bypassing the SD card - for video using any of the connections on Nikon D3300. Preferably with the laptop display as a live preview and storing a fairly decent a quality video format. I gather it can be done using a field recorder via HDMI - I was curious as to a solution without additional hardware. Many thanks. I have tried: Research online. I think it was caused by: Not a problem - just my unwillingness to spend more money!

When I record videos in Auto mode on my Nikon D3300, the video has a bit of fuzziness. Also, my skin tone always comes out orange in pictures, even in the whitest of lighting?
Here are my setting if it helps: . Color space: sRGB. Noise reduction: on . Built in AF - assist illumination: on . Viewfinder under AF Area Mode: dynamic area AF. Frame size/frame rate: 1920x1080;24p. Movie quality: high (also tried it on normal and it didn't make a difference). Auto distortion control: off. Image quality: normal. Does not talk about skin tone color of video fuzziness

How can I improve the quality of sound in recording an orchestra with piano soloist?
I recorded an orchestra with piano soloist and the sound was muffled and scratchy. I am not sure if I need additional equipment for my NIKON D3300 to make successful recordings in the future. My question is about how to record musical performances successfully. I have tried: I set up the camera as per instructions in the manual and recorded in 20 minutes segments. I think it was caused by: I am unsure why the recording was poor. I was sitting at a good distance but not too far away, and there was no additional soun.ds or noise in the concert hall

How can I make the camera take faster pictures? I've set the ISO to 1,200 but the speed is still to slow to take good pictures of a moving toddler.
