   To start, unlock the phone by pressing the home button or the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

   Slide to the right to unlock the phone

   Enter your passcode or press your finger onto the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled. This will take us to the home screen.

   Open the TripAdvisor application by tapping on the icon

   It is a green icon with an owl's face with big eyes. I have everything in folders to be more organized, so TripAdvisor is in the "Travel" folder.

   In the main page of the application, we can search using the search bar along the top, select a previously searched location, or we can browse

   For this example, we're just going to select "Berlin".

   Now we can choose specific things to browse in Berlin without having to add a filter

   We'll just tap "Restaurants" indicated by the orange icon.

   Scroll through to find a restaurant, which shows a picture on the left, as well as a rating, indicated by how many circles are filled in green

   In this example, the restaurant is rated 4.5. It also shows a very small overview. This example shows 2 currency signs, which means it's not that expensive. It has Italian, Mediterranean, Spanish and Turkish food. It is also #9 of 6327 places to eat in Berlin. Tap on the restaurant to see more details.

   To look through the pictures, just tap on one and all of the pictures will show up

   Tap on one to make it bigger, and then we can scroll through them. Tap the back arrow in the top left corner to go back to the restaurant page.

   In the grey bar at the top, we have the option to view it on a map, call them, say that we've been here, or save it

   It tells us how far away the restaurant is from us, how expensive it is, the hours they're open, and general useful information such as the website, address, phone number, and email

    We can see the reviews at the bottom, and if we've been there, we can also leave a review
