Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to quickly find your location in the Google Maps application on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen, and at the bottom, we will see a row of icons. This is the area we need to focus on now because we need to open up the applications folder.

   Press the icon located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle

   It looks like a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder. Pressing down on it will open up the folder.

   Find the Maps application

   It is located at the top of the screen. The icon is of a map with a red pin inside, and underneath, it says the word "Maps". Press down on this icon and it will open up the Google Maps application. What we want to do is show how to find our location very quickly when using this application.

   Let's scroll around by pressing down on the screen and dragging

   Press the icon that looks like a circle with a gray target inside it. Wherever we are on the map, even if we're in another country, or on the other side of the world, we can still press this icon. When we press down on this, it will instantly take us back to our current location.
