    In order to delete messages, we need to be on the home screen. This is done by unlocking the phone.

    Once we are on the home screen, we locate the Messages icon and tap it one time.

    For those of us familiar with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will know that generally deleting a text message involves tapping the message. Then, tapping "MORE". Then, tapping "Delete". Then, we check the message boxes and tap "DELETE" again. This is a tedious process.

    In order to quickly delete a message, we can simply tap and hold the message. We will be taken directly to the screen with check boxes.
