To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the Lock screen

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

What we want to do in this video, is to show how to quickly access the Internet from whatever screen we might be on, when using our HTC One M8
.
We can actually see now on the Home screen there is the Internet icon. It's the planet Earth. If we're using any other application or if we're on any other screen, we won't see this icon. We can still access the Internet quickly using the technique that we're about to see. First, we need to find a screen to use as an example.

To do that, we're going to open the Applications folder using the icon that's on the Home screen
.
It's at the bottom in the middle and it's a grid of white dots. Press down on the icon and it will open up our Applications folder.

We're going to select the "Gallery" as a useful example

We can see it says "Gallery".

We're going to press down on that icon to open the Gallery
.
Now we can see that the Home screen is gone. Those icons at the bottom of the Home screen are gone, but we can still access the Internet.

To do that, all we have to do is press down on the home icon in the black bar at the bottom
.
Just press down and hold down, and we'll see what will happen.

We need to press down on the home icon in the bottom black bar, hold down and swipe up without lifting our finger

Now we can see that the big white circle has appeared and inside that circle, it says the word "Google".

We need to make sure that our finger is over that circle and let go
